The CHIP/Medicaid Program for children's health care coverage is now called:
Idaho Health Plan Coverage for Children
To qualify for the Idaho Health Plan, a child must be:
- Under 19 years old
- Uninsured
- A U.S. citizen or legal resident; and
- His/her family within the family income guidelines. (Income from step-parent, grandparents, custodians, and legal guardians does not count. Only parents' income counts!)
