Health Careers Camp 2025 was a huge success! Thanks to support from the St. Luke’s Community Health Improvement Foundation and partnerships with professionals from St. Luke’s, Full Circle Health, Terry Reilly, and the Boise VA, middle and high school students from across the region got an inside look at healthcare careers.
Through interactive large- and small-group sessions led by healthcare professionals and AHEC Scholars, students explored a variety of career paths while gaining hands-on experience. The energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm they brought made the day unforgettable.

2025 Medical Student for a Day
In June, SW ID AHEC teamed up with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine to host Medical Student for a Day! Middle and high school students from across the region stepped into the shoes of future doctors through hands-on activities, networking with ICOM students and staff, and a behind-the-scenes look at what medical school is all about. An inspiring, eye-opening day for the next generation of healthcare professionals!
