Health Careers Camp 2026 will be held at the Idaho State University Meridian Campus on July 27, 2026!
Students from area middle and high schools will be invited to participate in hands-on activities with practicing healthcare providers. Participants will gain introductory knowledge of the healthcare field, what it is like to be a healthcare provider, and how to enter this rewarding career path. There will be fun prizes too!

2025 Medical Student for a Day
In June, SW ID AHEC teamed up with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine to host Medical Student for a Day! Middle and high school students from across the region stepped into the shoes of future doctors through hands-on activities, networking with ICOM students and staff, and a behind-the-scenes look at what medical school is all about. An inspiring, eye-opening day for the next generation of healthcare professionals!
