High School Programs

SW ID AHEC partners with local organizations, hospitals, and schools to host Orientation to Health Careers (OHC) and Doctor for a Day (DFAD). OHC introduces high school students to careers in health professions and provides exposure to health professionals and health facilities in their own communities. DFAD inspires students to explore the field of medicine through hands-on learning experiences and one on one interactions with practicing physicians.
